Fender Sunburst
Fender Sunburst
Fender Mustang I
Fender Mustang is a great new amplifier from Fender and it can easily deliver quite a few sounds from clean to heavy distortion. It comes with 24 presets in 3 different banks. There is 5 different versions on the market and the cheapest are only $99. This is a great practise amplifier for the beginner as well as more knowledgeable guitar players.
All of the the latest Fender amplifiers comes along with the well known Fender Fuse computer software which lets you adjust the settings of the amplifier with the pc. You have to link the Fender Mustang Amplifier to the pc by using a usb cable who comes along with the amplifier. As soon as you find a sound you actually like you will be able to keep it either on the laptop or computer as well as directly to one of the 24 presets on the amp so you will be able to use it without having to connect it to the laptop or computer.
You will be able to move the effects either before as well as after the actual amp for different sounds most often if you use heavy distortion you need to putt the reverb and also delays after the actual amp so that you can get a excellent sound. In case you wish to share your sound you will be able to upload it to the Fender fuse community so others may use your settings. Here you will be able to locate sounds from quite a few well known guitar players and also bands. For example if you like AC/DC and Angus Young sound you may download and install a patch with settings similar to his and upload it to your Fender Mustang Amplifier and begin playing.
The Mustang family of amplifiers happen to be quite good sounding and includes many good reviews from quite a few guitar players and what amazes the most is the actual price of the smallest amp in which have got the same effects as the larger units only a smaller speaker with less power. The bigger designs have more choices and you can change a great deal more of the settings directly on the actual amp without the Fender fuse application.
The Mustang I&II offers twelve modulation effects: chorus, phaser, flanger, vibratone, tremolo, step filter and octaver which you will be able to change on the amp. It also offers twelve delay and reverb effects that you also can control with a knob on the amp. To change the level you have to hold down the exit button and then turn the corresponding knob to the level of your choice.
The usb connection provides you with a low latency output in which you may take advantage of to record with straight through the amp. The Fender Mustang also comes along with Ableton live lite which is a multi track recording software. You also have an Aux input where you can play a song from your mp3 player or pc and play along, this will be a clean signal even if you have distortion effects.
What is the difference between super-shallow and deep body guitars?
Well, I have a dilemma, I've been playing guitar for about 5 months now, using only my squire stratocaster, she's nice but I don't want to take her places, so I'm buying an acoustic, but 1 problem, I'm stuck. I fell in love with a Fender Sunburst Dreadnought guitar, and an ovation applause AE148 super-shallow guitar (only the ovation is acoustic/electric / and is easier to carry), so, my question is, if I buy the ovation, will I be sacrificing anything related to sound, or anything, when I do not use an amp? Which one is the best choice? HOW DOES THE SUPER-SHALLOW CONTRIBUTE TO THE SOUND OF THE GUITAR WITH / WITHOUT AN AMP???
tone and how it broadcasts, I had an Ovation years ago when they were all the rage with the composite design, but sense then I discovered there's no substitute for fine wood. and the applause is just a cheaper version of the true Ovation so I imagine a super shallow relies heavily on it's pickup to broadcast sound as there's not much sound box there, and as far as the Fender acoustics go, I never cared for them, but others swear by them, your best bet would be try them both. if it were me I'd look at the Ibanez stuff they hold up really good and travel well, have an old PF that's on its 2nd kid now still plays and sounds great, but then again I use that excuse to hand down some of my older less expensive guitars so I can buy new ones and the old lady doesn't complain as much.
